I just had a quick question in regards to a setup I am considering running for an AK105 clone that will be built by Chris Butler upon my return from Afghanistan. I will be running an ultimak rail on an AK105 clone and I just wanted to know if any of you have used a Trijicon RX01 on an ARMS mount with the ultimak rail before?
The biggest question I have is will it provide clearance for the AK rear sight in case you have to use your irons? Of course you should always practice the fundamentals to include iron sight shooting and co-witnessing is not important to me as much as the RX01 allowing you to use iron sights in case you have to use it. From pictures that I have seen on the internet the rear sight should clear the RX01 with the ARMS mount but I can't be 100% sure hence the reason why I am posting this question to subject matter experts on the AK.
