$200 to install? Yea; I've come to distrust some gunsmiths... I usedone to install my side-sight mount and it was so far off (10' at 50y, 50' at 100); he charged me more to fix it and said I was 'too picky' and 'the ak isn't a precision rifle anyway'. Had similar experiences to install a mount on an old 222 bolt action... I'll buy the tools to install myself... Now that I know the block I need... thanks!
If anyone knows a good gunsmith in Shelton, WA - let me know ;-)

getting pressed fittings off is always harder than installing; at leas that's what i've found.
For sure, I'll pull what I have and measure before purchasing -- but good to know what I can look for, when ready.
