Polish Tokarev

I just put a Polish Tokarev in layaway at a local pawn. It is a Century import and appears unissued with no apparent finish wear. Are these arsenal refinished? There is a really nice holster and an extra mag included in the box with the gun. I paid $250 OTD and am looking forward to taking this Tokarev to the range once I get it out of layaway. How do the Polish Tokarevs stack up to the other makes? I have a nice Yugo M57 but haven't had a chance to shoot it yet. This Polish Tok has a date of 1952 on it and all visible numbers match. I have done some research on the various Toks but was wanting some feedback from people here that actually own and shoot them.

My Polish shoots just as nice as my Yugo, Romy, and various Chinese Tokarevs.

Aesthetics are on par with the Yugo, and the blueing on my Polish is deep and gorgeous. I just wish Century would put their import stamps in a less obvious spot...

Yeah, I hate that and the add on safety. The safety on the one I am getting seems solid enough however. It clicks positively on or off. The blueing is nice though and the one I am getting could not have been issued. This is assuming these are not arsenal refinished.
