Well that sucks..... I was looking for the correct 1/12. Makes me wonder. I have a M85 kit still to build that I purchased from Atlantic with a US barrel several years back. It doesn't have the correct twist either. Such a shame....

Um I think I am throwing in the towel on the m70 stub

I was expecting to cut out the front mag catch and slide it forward and it looks like the bullet guide groove just needs to be extended a little.

but my hang up is the bullet guide recess that is I dunno 24-25mm needs to be extended and I am not sure how to do that

Do you have a spare M70 front trunnion stub you'd be willing to sell? I'm heading the same direction with an M77 kit and I'd like to take a crack at converting this trunnion to make it work. I'd be sure to post my findings if successful
