Does anyone have any picture of actual Yugoslavian M70 cleaning kits? I was wondering if they have a similar storage tube/combo tool like regular Russian style AK kits or if they are like the SKS type tubes? Do they have the same tools as the M59/66 or do they have a sight tool/screwdriver like East Bloc AKs as well? I'm putting together a complete accessory bag and right now thats about the only item I dont have and Im unsure about. Maybe theres a Mitchell owner out there that had the proper cleaning kit from the factory?

I asked this same question on akfiles and didn't really get much of answer. One person thinks he saw one before. I just ended up getting a mag pouch that'll hold a cleaning kit, and buying j-random cleaning kit in a tube.

The cleaning kit case in that pic does look more like the regular AK style vs the SKS with the cap that has wings if u will. Theres also alot of cosmoline. Apparently the "cleaning rope" as Zastava's English site calls it is still included with the M70s.

Whether or not the cap cover has wings does not mean it came from a AKM vs SKS kit. See pic below and look at the Yugo SKS cleaning kits

Numrich sells most of the cleaning parts to this kit at this link for the Yugo SKS 59/66 on this page. Nurich has enclosed both plastic oil and metal oil bottle in my past orders so it is kinda a random thing regarding the oil bottle lottery

Item # 811590 shows 3 out of 4 cleaning acessories that are for the Yugo m70. The oil bottle is a toss up but at $9.95 for FFL discount its hard to beat at that price. + It doesn't hurt to ask if they can give you the black plastic oil bottle and you wind up with 2 peices of leather to boot. Not a bad deal at all in my book. I bought quite a few packs and was pleased overall.

The Mitchell pic shows all the correct gear that a Mitchell gun came with. I have several NIB Mitchell guns and all have the rope pull thru, cleaning kit with no "wings", and plastic oil bottle. In answer to another question I am sure that folks used the leather oiler pouch on slings for the AKM like the SKS but the Yugo AKM pouch has a slot for the 4 mags, grenade launcher, plastic oiler bottle, rope pull thru, and blank firing device. Hope this helps.
