Not enough rust, hammer marks, and goat hairs to classify it as a Khyber build, sorry.
But I'd toss the handguards out and go for wood or AMD 65 sheet metal if you can make it work.

 

Mutt it is then, still, as I said, a good build. Goat hair...now your funn'in me. Wood works, but I am trying to make it street legal. Even the Pakistani can use a hammer. Thank you for your opinion.

Anyway, it was a really fun build. Cycles as smooth as glass.

 

Fed-Ex has been unreliable getting Magpul furniture out out to Khyber, and even when it gets there the shipping charges are crazy, so I don't think they use that.

It's just a build with mixed parts. Maybe I really don't know what Kyber pass build means, but I do know that you don't have to beat shit with a fuckin' hammer and smear goat shit and hair on it. Or...maybe I'm just wrong. Rust, that is another story. My shit ain't rusty. Your shit rusty, your problem.

 

Nah man! The goat shit is awesome lube for the action, and the hairs help me blend in with the rest of the goat herd. Make sure that hammer has a nasty pitted face for maximum Khyber effect.

Indeed it is. A very much fun build. Alot of this or that's, what fits and will it work. It shoots and functions just like it should. Although I haven't been able to see what the accuracy is long range. Is loud as hell. Thank all of you for your time and opinions.

My next project will involve an out of spec Romanian RPK barrel I got from Cole Distribution ten years ago that they refused take back. (Fuck them) I've always wanted a long barreled AK. Might take a few months, but I'll put the barrel in my homemade drill press lathe and use my 37 Pakistani made files to bring it into spec with whatever parts I can find and go from there.
Building (mutts) or mutations is really fun for me. And with the Democrats (hate politics) trying to have thier way, it my be the last way of our hobby. Sorry for getting onto the soap box.
