I'm sorry in advance if I posted in the wrong thread as I'm a noob and haven't been on in a while....

I have a Surefire RC2 in jail and expect it to be out soon. I purchased this can with the hopes of running it on my ARs along with my PSAK 74, but unfortunately Surefire no longer makes suppressor attachments for M24x1.5 RH and I can't find one anywhere.

I understand they make thread adapters, so would it be a bad idea to look for and purchase a M24x1.5 RH to 1/2x28 if I can find one? Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Would this work also? If so, I'm wondering what, if anything, the price difference would indicate........

I don't have experience with the CNC Warrior adapter. The Griffin indexes off of the muzzle in an attempt to minimize the issue of concentricity. The higher price of the Griffin could be because it is machined to closer tolerances? Maybe?

No experience with either, but I agree that if the Griffin part contacts the muzzle, you'll have a better chance of bore alignment.

The CNC Warrior one has detents for an FSB detent pin, so it is most likely going to bottom against the FSB, which is a non-machined surface. That will more likely negatively impact bore alignment.

Just to reiterate, check alignment before firing, but I'd guess the PSA has a non hammer forged/button rifled barrel that may have a better chance of muzzle thread/bore concentricity.
