Colt Piston Carbine LE6940P (piston gun) - are they any good?

I want something like Taiwan's T91 and the 6940P seems similar, kind of. Gas piston gun.

I am thinking about getting one, but don't know anyone who owns one or how well these run. Anyone here have any experience with the model?

I already own a 6920 and really like it. The 6940P costs more than twice what my 6920 did - is it worth it?

Thanks for any info/help...

Edit: I guess I could just buy the upper and use that on my 6920, couldn't I..?

I have had my 6940p for almost an entire year now, I bought it back in the panic of gun legislation, and I absolutely love it. I have ran almost 1000 rounds through it and it hasn't skipped a beat. very accurate with ACOG out to at least 400 yards.

My build:
Colt LE6940P
Trijicon ACOG 4x32 TA31-F
Magpul furniture
Harris Bipod
Dueck Defense RTS

Overall a very solid gun. The piston is way better then DI in my opinion because it is super reliable and you can pull the bolt out and hold it in your hand after running 100 rounds through it. In addition it runs super clean. You don't really have to do and heavy cleaning on the bolt but I usually remove the piston and wipe that down.

Edit: I have no idea on the upper switch....
