The question was about the spike without the mounting gear. To me this means just the one piece blade. Bayonet collectors would want it complete with sliding hilt, spring and retaining rivet or screw. Rifle collectors would want the complete front sight and bayonet assembly to be able to mount on a rifle. Just the blade for sale is uncommon, however I have bought two online auctions in the last couple years for under $25. They are not always identified correctly, very little interest or bidding. Some rifle collectors with the modified, compliant, removable bayonets remove them and replace them with the original style. I also knew someone that wanted an easily removable one and traded me an original for a "J" hook one. Go figure!? They are only worth what someone is willing to pay for one. I might have a couple extras, make me an offer?
