Bayonet For a Pre Ban Norinco

I'm getting ready to buy a pre ban Norinco, and want a bayonet that will fit it.

Been reading about them and there seems to be a type 1 and type 2?

Are AK bayonets interchangeable? I have one that came with my WASR under folder

No clue what to be looking for..

There is a difference between bayonets for milled and stamped guns.

The milled gun will take a type 1 (knife style bayonet which is older design, locks under the FSB fangs) while the stamped design is similar to the wire cutter style bayonet, which will lock on to the lug beneath the Gas Block.

There may be more than one type of the second style bayonet, I don't know.

Fixed stock and underfolders have a bayo mount on the gas block. The Type 2 is used on these.

The side folder 56S-2 does not have a mount on the gas block and used the Type 1 that locks onto the front sight.
