I was taking apart one of my ak and I went to take off the top hand guard and the little lever holding it in place broke. I do not know an easy fix, any help would be nice.

I was taking apart one of my ak and I went to take off the top hand guard and the little lever holding it in place broke. I do not know an easy fix, any help would be nice.
You will have to drill the flared end off the latch (left side) and use a punch and remove it then insert a new lever and using a punch and hammer or a press or vice flare/mushroom the end to replace the broken latch.
