I know that K-var used to import these things. Now I can't seem to find one. Any info on when they might be available again?

Thanks,
Keith

The 7.62 one is a cone;

The 5.45 one is not.
Thanks Rob! I feel better now.

My kit (if you can call it that) came with a virgin 7.62 barrel, along with other new bits. Nothing rear of the front trunion tho. I had to assemble all the rest. But I'll be using the parts to convert an SAR 1 to an AIMR clone.

Very nice......wanna sell it???? :wink:
HA-HA! :grin:

I took some measurements earlier, and sent them (and the above pics) to another member who is going to take them to a machinist to see if he can a have them made. Not only correct, but a U.S. part to boot!

I have a 7.62x39 flash hider, and it is not conical; perhaps there are two types?

It was I that asked for the dimensions from Joelad. A couple weeks ago I sent off an email to www.cncwarrior.com to see if they might be interested in making the units. No email back, sent out another today. I would like to get both straight and cone Romy styles. Maybe I need to inquire at another CNC shop.

Mikeinc nice score on a original.
