Having watched my share of movies down the years. It's hard to name just one or two. I like leeway. How about your top 5 or ten?

This will be broad categories John Wayne movies. James Bond movies. War movies based on true events or somewhat true events like Lone Survivor, Patton, We Were Soldiers, U-571 and Run Silent, Run Deep. If including TV shows, Vikings is my favorite current TV show. Also like Knightfall, The Big Bang Theory, Last Man Standing and Live PD. Also like old ones: Band of Brothers (probably tied with Vikings as my favorite), Hunter, In The Heat of the Night, AirWolf, A-Team, Monk, The Andy Griffith Show, The Jeffersons and The Company.

Seriously "U-571" as a true events story?

Do you even know who broke the Enigma codes?
Do you even know when the Enigma code was broke?

Other questions about who and when captured the Enigma machine from submarine/U-boot I will leave to you when you will be checking "true event" ;)

Taxi Driver, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Scarface are some of my favorites. Any silent horror film as well. Like Nosferatu obviously.

No way I could do a top 5 because there is just too many movies I love. I will say The Matrix and the original Fast and Furious is still on rotation, as is the original Star Wars. Not my favorites but amongst them for sure.

Clint Eastwood and James Bond movies I can watch over and over. I remember when the first Jaws movie came out, that was pretty much hair rising.

Get your panties out of a wad and reread what I posted. I said based on true events or SOMEWHAT true events. No movie is 100% accurate.

There will be blood; gangs of New York, the last of the Mohicans...I have a platonic man crush on Daniel day Lewis.
Gangs of New York huh? One of my favorites, nice choice. Anybody ever seen The Bad Lieutenant?
Oh, I forgot Law Abiding Citizen. Not my most favorite but makes my top 10.

Done ;)
But know that U-571 isn't even close to true event or SOMEWHAT true events but just simply write history in wrong manner.

It is just like I write that the "fathers of the American cavalry/U.S. Cavalry" was some foreigners, not Americans.

Oh, wait that is actually true, sorry bad agsample.

But this is the same to say that WWII was started by germans not nazis (again bad egsample) but was started by Japanese or russians.
