This stock was taken off of my brand new Model 10FP (short action). While mine is a .308, I believe this MAY fit other rifles. You will have to do the research, since I'm no expert on Savage rifles. What I do know, however, is that this will not fit the old short actions, as the distance between the action screws was changed. The screws are 4 and 3/8 inches apart (I believe the old ones may have been 4 and 1/4"). It has a 1 inch recoil pad that is very soft and there are two swivel studs on the forend and one on the butt. While the trigger guard is not included, the rear tg screw is. This stock is cut for the heavy barrel. This is a right handed stock.

Price is $40, including shipping via USPS, to CONUS, only. I accept Paypal or Postal Money Orders. You can send cash, but I would advise against it. Please post an "I'll take it" and send a PM with your shipping/payment info. Also, if you have any questions or would like additional pics, let me know and I will do my best to help.

Thanks for looking!

Bump.
Back up for sale.
Just curious as to what stock you replaced it with.

I had one custom made by Kevin Rayhill at www.stockadegunstocks.com. There was a three month wait, but it was worth it. I haven't even fired a hundred rounds through it yet, but I've already got the groups down to below 3/4 of an inch (five rounds @ 100yds). Still experimenting with different loads.

Nice, I may be picking one of those up for my rifle. What kind of optics do you have there? I'm thinking about going with a Millet

That is the Millett 4-16X56. I also have one of their TRS scopes on the AR that I use for Prairie Doggin'. I have to say that the Millett scopes are probably the best scope you can buy, for the money. They are built like a tank and have optics that are as good or better than many scopes I had looked at, which were double, or even triple the price. If you get one, you won't be sorry.
