ok, Im going to show my ignorance on the subject:

Im assuming since you say these are Krinkov slings, that they are different than a fixed stock sling? Im guessing they are shorter?

The end opposite the snap hook has a metal tab and is not permanently sewn to the slide buckle (easier to thread). There are two leather keepers instead of one.

I got my grip today (in 2 days!) and it's as nice as they get.
I can't believe that there are still 5 grips available. I guess it's a sign of the times, and the economy.
The last Soviet shiny plum polyamide grip I saw at a show was $80 (Comm Bloc had it), and it was nice, but used. If you're thinking about one, don't hesitate. You never know how long it will be before more come along.
