That's not a smart ass reply. Alot of people refuse to read or over look the rules. We all have full time jobs and help out on this site free of charge to help members learn and get what they want. He probably put the "points" in quotes to highlight that. Some times we are short on time and don't have time to read everything over 10 times and think how people will take what we write. Most people know that the staff and mods have good intentions here, so they know how to take things. If you have problems with what we say or don't like it. It is generally best to pm us directly to clear things up. Saying things like "that sounds like a smart ass reply" doesn't usually go over good here. Selective enforcement of unwritten rule is the sign of an unprofessional organizations and if that's how you handle your site, delete the ad. Lock my account, whatever.

The Golden Rules of doing business on the internet
1. All ads should be placed in the appropriate forum.
2. All ads should have HONEST, detailed descriptions and the merchandise for sale must be priced!
3. You must have valid contact information. If you're asked by an EE Moderator, you will need to provide that info or risk your ad being removed.
4. WTB/WTT ads belong in the appropriate WTB/WTT forums.
5. Absolutely no stomping on other peoples posts. Do not remark in any way that would negatively impact the sale of someone?s merchandise.
6. No posting of anything illegal. This will earn you a one-way trip off the board.
7. Once your item is sold, edit only the subject line of the ad to reflect "SOLD" or "SPF" so everyone knows the item is no longer available. Do not delete/edit the original title, ad text, or asking price.
8. I STRONGLY recommend listing your state.
9. First post of 'I'll take it' trumps any PM sent. PM sent is usually nothing more than a question or price negotiation.
