The hammer was different. I know they used to list a different trigger assy. for the SAR3, but you may want to contact them to be sure.
Will a RSA SAR-3 Trigger work in a standard AKM?
I found a SAR-3 RSA trigger. Will it also work in a standard AKM or 74? What is different about it?

FYI, I called Power Custom. He said the SAR 3 trigger groups will fit any AK's. he said they tried to just start selling the one FCG for everything, but people demanded the purely standard one :smile:
the hammer is different. B/c the SAR3 bolt or bolt carrier is shorter. So the SAR3 Hammer has to rotate forward a bit more, to hit square.
