Which knife to mount to a 6004 holster?

I dont run a knife on my rig but a lot of my co workers mount cold steel fixed blades (SRT's) mainly due to the fact that they are available in the PX in our area.

I've seen lots of pics of what I want over on LF, but for some reason that's the only one I could find tonight. My seach-fu is lacking this evening. :twisted:

just giving you a hard time bro. I have seen a lot of different knives mounted on the 6004, just get whatever floats your boat and bolt/zip tie it on there.

I've used a SOG sealpup, a Benchmade Nimravus, and a Swamp Rat (I don't remember the style, but it's a skeleton handle) which is been a hard-use knife for the size. If you can't find a swamp rat, I think they now make scrap yard knives (all made at the Busse Combat shop)
I've never put it alongside my holster, but a Glock field knife is definitely handy for the price.

One of the Kabar TDIs? I saw that in a pic of a swat guy once.

I had a SOG Seal Pup set up in front of M9 in Iraq. It was the best deal at the PX, and it turned out to be a great knife. It now resides in the "Iraq Box", but I do have another ready to go. The Gerber ASEK would be another, but you might want a better sheath than the one it comes with. Cheers
