7.62 mags, just have to look around.. Grey market from England mostly.

I have never actually seen a real one though, just converted Saiga magazines...

5.45 mags, just have to get lucky and find one in a pile of Plums that come via Bulgaria.. Even then, they will be the early type.

Any of the modern black mags are going to be super rare.. The Russians dont export them to any civilian market anywhere, and its Illegal for Russian civilians to even possess a 5.45 mag.. They were created after the fall of the USSR. That pretty much eliminates any going out the back door.

For converted Saiga 7.62, keep checking here to see if they re-stock:

Tantal currently has these in stock, but they're not cheap:

7,62x39mm RUSSIAN BLACK POLYMER AK-103 TYPE 30-ROUND MAGAZINES

M3 SAIGA, AK, AKM, AKMS, AK-103 & AK-104

MINT NEW, SMOOTH-SIDES WITH FRONT & REAR RIBS

These 30 round box magazines were made at Izhevsk, and have the proper "arrow-in-triangle" arsenal codes. These were made for the M3 Saiga rifle, and have Saiga style feed ramps on the front edge of the magazine feed box. They can be trimmed to work in regular AK rifles such as the AKM or AK-103 rifle. Being smooth sided with forward and rear ribbing, they are perfect for a Russian AK-103 project, and have all of the standard features you expect in a high strength, reliable feeding AK magazine, to include steel reinforced feed lips and lower base plate area. NOTE: We cannot ship this item to CA, HI, MD, MA, or NJ. Limited quantities!

For the Izhevsk "true black", what about buying one of these:

and swapping the follower with a 5.45?
