Everybody has that one type of mag they love more then any other. So what's yours? Im partial to polymer and I have a growing fondness for Magpuls AK mags.

Tula plums. Love the variation of speckles that come on them.

+1. The color and flake content make them so much fun to collect. The higher diversity of acceptance stamps compared to Izzy makes em neat too

If numbers were any indication then Yugo mags are my favorite... with Russian bakelites a VERY close second (mixed between all the variants).
I personally adore my Bosnian and Croatian magazines, and my Norks and Pakis are prized possessions as well.
It's hard for me to say whether I like the old Soviet bakelites or the ((10)) waffle mags more. I love buying and collecting the bakelites, but for range use, training, & SHTF purposes, I like the waffle mags more. I do go shooting with my bakelite sometimes, but I'm a bit more gentle on them than I am the waffles.
I like the twenty rd tanker mags and the Polish 5.45 mm metal mags.

Of what Ive owned:

X39--Chinese flat back followed by Hunky 20 rounders

5.56---m85 mags ( total tanks ) followed by bulgy waffles
Tula 545x39 bakelites...
I'm not much of a collector but my favorite is a Tula 45rd Bakelite.

I prefer Bake over Plum all day. Most of my Plums show wear and just look dirty
Any milspec mags that feed well and those that match the country of origin and caliber of the AK they are clicked into.;)

Quad stack!
Ive always been partial to the Molot Ribbed RPK 74 mags. My second favorite would be RPK 74 bakelite mags.
