Well now that I know where to buy a Bulgarian side scope rail for my Bulgy AKS-74, build the only thing left is to buy the actual POSP scope. So my question is what magnification would be best suited for acquiring targets for up to 200 yards? I don't think I want a variable magnification scope and was leaning towards the 6x scope at Kalinka's ( http://www.kalinkaoptics.com/detail.aspx?ID=327 ).

What do you guys think?

Edit: I also found this 4x scope ( http://cgi.ebay.com/Rifle-Scope-SAIGA-V ... dZViewItem )

Also, is it true that you can use iron sights with a x24 POSP scope but not with a x42 scope?

I would, did, choose a 4x24. A six power just seemed all wrong for an AK. I don't know about iron sights and the x42, I see them just fine with the 4x24.

Well, if you intend to use it at less than 100, in addition to out to 200, then I'd say something in the 1x to 2x range would be best.

I already did. I looked at their website and their ebay store and I already know that they have good prices and a nice selection.

I'll just go with the POSP scope as they are cheaper than the PSO scopes.
