Hey everyone,
Just wanted to say goodbye and good luck with your .22 AK type semi's. Sold mine and though it looked cool and was fun with that AK feel to it, decided on another 10 shot semi .22 that's more reliable, accurate and easy to get parts. The BGM 30's never worked for me and I stuck with just the 10's.
Got myself a very nice Browning SA-22 10 shot. Super accurate. Feeds anything I load it with and it takes down. More elegant than the Ruger 10/22 I was also looking at. Classier, too and well worth the money. Made out pretty well on the WASR sale. A 10 shot is a 10 shot no matter what it looks like on the outside.
Take care all !!

I'll be around. I just love the funny pics thread and maybe I can add a few. You guys crack me up!
Here is my new Browning I just returned home with from the indoor range I bought it from. Shot around 300 bullets in it. What a beauty!
Now for a nice classy case for it. The shop even said I could scope it for a decent price.

That’s a nice classic. I just picked up a Browning T-bolt w/ 10-shot helical mag. AA maple stock, a real beauty, though it doesn’t seem to be quite as accurate as my cz452s.

You guys are so silly. I will have to find a picture of it. I call it WASR, but my guy says it is an ATK-98. He might have some for insurance reasons.

Question, did you change over to the Black Dog Machine firing pin and extractor in your WASR?

Nice Browning. A little secret for the future. You BUY guns. SELLING GUNS is not in the vocabulary for most of us.

No, it worked just fine how we got it back when and never bought a firing pin or the other part.
I'm never going to sell this new Browning. It is just too perfect for me. Weighs so much less and the trigger pull is so excellent. I sometimes get an ejected case hit my wrist and it burns, so I have to learn to hold my arm a little farther out on the front since it ejects from the bottom. I'm learning.
Here is me shooting a pistol of some sort. One of those Walter James Bond guns my guy has. SAM_0428.jpg

Happy you found what you really like. Those lil Browning’s are SLICK.
My Grandfather grew up with one and I’m now it’s caretaker.

Classy like me. I'm still a good shot and not to bad looking, turning 62 recently.
Ripping apart empty soda cans and make them dance with the .22 while my guy grills me marinated salmon over charcoal today.

Hey again guys. Been looking at the funny picture thread. I took a look here and saw there was nothing new in a very long time.
Has the .22 WASR/ATK98 a thing of the past now?

The .22 AK is a bit of a red head step child.

If it is a Combloc trainer in .22 there is some interest but they are pretty rare.

Just stopped by again and still looks like the WASR/ATK 22's are a thing of the past.
Bummer.
