I just bought a new pistol (Glock 19). This is my first new pistol. Does anybody ever send in the warranty cards? Are they important for anything? Are they not good to do (too many mailings and junk mail)? Indifferent? Thanks for any input.

I've always sent in the warranty cards, but never had to send any of my Glocks for warranty repairs. Never had any issues with junk mail from sending them in. Couldn't hurt, might help. Congrats on that new G19!

I register things online and do not enter the demographic crap. It is not necessary for the warranty to be valid.

I usually do. If there is some recall related info I may need, I may learn of it faster that way, but otherwise it doesnt really matter.

Thank you for the quick replies. I gather it doesn't matter one way or the other. I hadn't even thought of doing it online or recalls. Thanks.
