Does anyone know of any Tula AKM kits that have shown up in the U.S? I've seen all Izzys so far and I would guess that there must be a few that got here somehow. I would kill for one.

Yes, there are some out there.


There were a handful in the last PLO shipment imported by Hesse..I think less then 6. But they were pretty rough. 1976 dated. I had one, but sold it off...

Think there were a few others imported earlier. Mostly the same year.

I have 2 that I brought back from Germany.. They are without barrel and bolt.. I have a 1969 and a 1977. I had a 1961, but sold it.

While in Germany, I did send some similar kits to the USA as grey market imports... Think it was about a half dozen.. But again, without barrel and bolt.
