Friend of mine has a transferable .223 and wants to have a 5.45 Krink kit installed . any other things to look for ? Not mine I wish. and out of my league gunsmith work. the question of barrekl diameter came up. I know there is a slight receiver thickness difference , Thanks,W

The Krink barrel will have to be turned down to fit the 19MM Chicom trunion. Not a problem for a competent gunsmith...Troy built two Krinks for me based on Chicom guns. He can even duplicate the Russian rivit pattern and milled cuts on the trunion to make a more "correct" looking gun while staying legal with the Chicom trunion.
