The mags marked "L" are for long action cartridges, such as .270, .30-06, .300 Win Mag.

The mags marked "M" will be for short action cartridges such as .243, .308, etc.

Mags marked "S" will be for .223 class cartridges.

FYI, the Tikka T3 is a "universal" action, so any T3 mag will fit in any T3 action. However, the bolt stop/release will dictate what length can be cycled and the "M" and "L" mags only differ in the plug at their rear, which allows the varying lengths of cartridges. The bodies are the same.

ETA: If you can figure out what the capacity of the mags are, that could be a big plus. T3 mags that hold more than three or four rounds (depending on size) are kind of hard to find and usually expensive when you can find them. Anybody who is familiar with T3 mags will realize that this is a good price. Good luck with your sale!

Thanks for the additional info. These are the "standard" size mags, flush mount. Look to hold 3 or 4 rounds each tops. Still a fair price (I think) at fifty. New in package it seems most places are asking $65-$70.

Would also consider trading for AK 47 or AK 74 mags w/ 74 mags preferred.

Thanks again for the info.
