There back?

How about that thing with Cugir not producing WASR's for U.S.? Looks like there back just with a slight price bump. If they were truely the "last in the pipe," wouldn't they be going for $500+? Classic said M70's were dry? For a while WASR's were gone, kit builds surfaced suddenly. AMD 65's came with no cleaning rod or bayo lug same with M70's. Suddenly its all back, complete, Huh? I am in full agreement, I smell BS!

There is no doubt in my mind that there has always been some market manipulation by some dealers and distributers. In an attempt to spur sales to the pre 94 panic levels.

+1 on that!!

I've seen it before, especially in an election year.
Suddenly certain guns get difficult to get, and the price goes sky high
with the distributors and some dealers starting rumors to justify
the sky high prices they are now charging for a specific gun.

Supply and demand.
Distributor creates a rumor that makes the dealer think the supply
has been cut. Get the item in, charge alot more for it. Dealer perpetuates
the rumor to the customer and charges ALOT more for it now because
"These are the last ones" or "You won't be able to get any more after these."
People buy it because most of them aren't savy enough to wade
through the falsehoods in the business.

Caveat Emptor! Now so more than ever in this business.

Well shit.

I was considering a WASR, but for the 50 extra bones I may as well just convert a Saiga.
