Fantastic!

My 3 year old calls my Uzi a "sheen gun" too.

I've got mine shooting pellet guns now, he might be ready for a few rounds out of the Uzi. Think I'll start him on semi first though.

HA! Congressman T-Roy! What is the world coming to........Somehow I just chuckle thinking of him in a suit with Krink slung tight in front. I yield my time to the Gentileman from Kodak......
Thanks for the vote of confidence Ryan!
Freaking priceless. I bought my girl a cricket when she was 2 and she loves to shoot it. At least your teaching him right.
I cant wait till my little one is old enough to take her shooting.

Well done Troy,,, well done.
awesome dad
:allright:

Very cool!

I was 6 before my dad taught me how to run the 10/22.
I've bought all three of my kids a 10/22 for their 5th birthdays. Unfortunately it took a while to get them out to actually fire them. To me the lessons before going out to the range are more important than what's done on the range, and it was tough finding the time to do it right.

Finally got my oldest, my daughter, out to shoot one day. Ran her through the usual drill, loaded up a mag and handed it to her. She charged it, took her time getting the sights lined up, fired one shot, then fumbled to find the safely. She put it on "safe" and put the rifle down. My thought was that she hated it and wanted nothing to do with it. Nope. She got on her hands and knees to find the casing from the first round she'd fired. She was hooked! Hell of a shot too.

By now she's worked her away through some pretty exotic stuff like the P-90. Haven't gotten her to shoot an AKM yet, but will try the '74 when I get back to the states. She did fine on the WASR-22, as did her little brothers.
Here is my boy when he was about to turn five at the range shooting a .17 Marlin

He had to to know the nomenclature of the rifle and some basic firearm rules before he ever got to go.

Whats funny is he was too small to hold the rifle correctly and had to look down into the scope and was still doing a jam up job...I bought him a cricket after this but he hates it...its too small he says.
