I received a "Spam Can" or sealed Russian tin of ammo. It has a dent in the can. With the dent will the tin support long term storage? The tin or can doesn't seem to have any holes or corrosion, just the dent on a corner as if the tin or can was dropped.

You're fine. I opened a severely dented can last summer. Not a problem .

Thanks for all the posts. No punctures, holes or corrosion. I will put this one away for storage and won't worry about it.

Pretty cool being able to put some ammo away for a rainy day and know it will still work once the can is opened.
