Since I was aware the OP has first hand experience with real AKs, I thought he was pointing out that plum grips are "correct" for that rifle. Being pictured with the designer would be good proof. I care not about political correctness in ak configuration, but I considered that the thread might be in response to some debate about the grip's use on that rifle.

I have no idea what the joke is, but a beer at 10am wouldn't help me understand it.
