Its not looking good for our friends in NOLA and SOMis. If you would, however you do it, say a prayer for these folks! Many of them lost everything in Katrina and now face the possibility of a repeat. If I have violated forum rules its all good if the moderator needs to remove this post!

Just now starting to get rough here in Daphne, AL (across the bay from Mobile). We hardly ever get hard wind down our cul-de-sac, but its coming down hard and the wind is genning up really hard. South Miss must be getting pounded really hard right now. Continue to keep 'em in your prayers!

The winds are gusting around 60 mph here in Nola. So far so good.My dog is looking a little scared.Theres not any damage visible so far allthough the neigbors fireplace pipe is swaying like it wants to go.

Yeah, I see that one tracking up there. I hoped it wouldnt get organized,
as looked like the case two days ago. Also, there is another behind, IKE
lookes like it will nail the Bahamas if it keeps going. That means another
round for the Gulf possibly.
