Saspan is laquer coated non-corrosive berdan primed ammunition produced in Russia, I believe at the Uly plant.

If it is the HP kind, it is the most effective HP bullet ever produced for the 7.62x39mm. It fragments extremely well, and has been proven to do extensive damage on gel blocks resembling human targets. Again, if it is the HP version, it is the best self-defense ammo you can buy for the 7.62x39mm.

If it is FMJ, it is pretty much the same as laquer coated Wolf, although a little more accurate. Not dirty, but it is reliable.

not the same as WOLF FMJ at all . the Uly 8M2 fmj is , like the 8M1 nipple bullet , an 'improved' M67 type bullet . the Wolf is an improved M43 type bullet without the steelcore . i didnt record the chrono from the old blue-stripe boxed FMJ that came in 700rd tins marked "MIL-SPEC" but , it was darn good stuff also

I meant the same as far as reliability/storage life/function, not as in bullet design.
