I'm in need of a POSP scope for my Saiga .308.

First, I need one with multiple Chevrons.

at LEAST 800yrds.

.308 drop (7.62x54r equivalent (almost))

I chose 6x42 because it's smaller than the 8 but bigger than the 4


I want it to be able to have a mark i can shoot at at 500-600 yards. (a 600yrd chevron would rock)

Also, I kinda forget how to use the range finder. Thanks!



Any Ideas where I can get the best value? Price/Quality/Guarantee?

Any of the quality POSP scopes on the market with a BDC and the milspec "choke" RF reticle should do the trick.

Tantal's "automats in action" site has instructions.

P.S -Note: The factory commerical "sporting' stock is TOO LONG to allow for good use of a POSP scope. The gun either needs to be "converted" to a milspec PG stock...or, shortened.

Check the EE boards over at Ak47.net, and the marketplace on these forums... I scored a nice 6x42 posp from a guy for 120 bucks shipped... I saw another guy selling a 8x42 posp for 120 shipped as well just a day later....

Post in the WTB forums that you are looking for one. I like mine alot. Solid.
