Could someone tell me if the PK-122 Optical Sight is in fact a real Russian rifle sight or some type of airsoft mess?

The PK-122 is a real legit Russian holographic sight with night vision capability. It's the upgraded version from the original one the PK-120. There's also a PG350 which is the latest one to my knowledge. I've got a PG350.

How much of a difference in the PK-122 and PG350 would you say there are?
The PG350 that I own is different in that the big dial for reticle brightness as shown on the PK-122 was replaced with a two button function that operates as a shut off also when pressed at the same time and the front nose part of the plastic housing is a little different in looks. The outer glass is the same and I believe most all PG350s come with the protective outer cage. I like the fact the PK-122's battery cap sticks out further which allows for more easy grip to unscrew which I wish they would have kept when they designed PG350's outer plastic. I've heard the PK-122's dial is a little stiff, but at least it has setting numbers where the PG350's button controls does not of course. Neither has auto shut off. I think it's easier to forget to shut off the PG350 since you have to actually look at the redicle versus being able to glace at the dial 0 mark on the PK-122 for off I assume. I do like the AA one battery design and both have it. There was some improvement made with the blue hue that seems to make certain conditions less defined from the first model, but is still has a bit of a blueish tone. I can't say which is better. I kind of like the push buttons, but I like the PK-122 outer housing design better. I've forgotten to shut off my unit a few times only to pick the rifle up and no power. I also left it sit for a few months and the battery started to seep corrosion and froze up the cap. I did get it unscrewed after applying battery corrosion remedies and penetrating oil. It was a pain trying to get a grip on the cap. I was able to get it off with no damage fortunately.
Here's my set up. PG350

See how the front housing design encumbers the battery housing cap a bit? It takes up half of the cap radius! Plus the plastic that they designed to protrude further out and around may look great, but it's just 3D printer strength and thin (actually I believe it is 3D printed the way it looks from the inside). It's hollow underneath in that area. I thought about taking a dremmel to that and cutting it away, but the sight adjustment arrows would be sacrificed. Plus the fact that altering it in this fashion pretty much voids the collector value.
