On a tantal foldeing stock, how do you remove the rubber bumper? I'm going to refinish the sucker.

It's held in by a pin. You need to push that pin over enough to where one side is free of the wire stock and it will come out.

Damn, that was PITA to get out. is it just as much of a pain to get back in?

Yup, even worse when you are not trying to scratch the recent refinish job up.

use a small c clamp (with tape on it) to compress the rubber/pin

I actually had an easier time getting it back in. Got it started through one side, pressed the other end of the pin with a punch into the rubber enough to line up with the hole and pushed it the rest of the way in.
