I accidentally posted this up in the Vepr/Saiga forum. Here it is again.

They show an RPK for $495. Anybody check this out? Opinions? I'm looking
to acquire another AK. Was thinking Vector, Saiga, or perhaps that RPK.

I have a Vepr, and SKS, and a PSL; and want to "broaden" my horizons.

Be aware that the rifle listed there is not an RPK.

1. That folding carry handle is fugly and makes no sense whatsoever.

2. That is a cheapo US made long barrel not a true RPK barrel, it doesn't even have the cleaning rod support attatchment. It is also thinner than a true RPK barrel.

3. The bipod is set up wrong.

4. It has the WASR type gas block with bayo lug!!

Imagine what would happen if retarded WASRs from Romania had sex with a bunch of retarded AKs from the American Ghetto. Their basterd child would look like that.
