Centerfire has 75 round romanian drums without follower for a good price. My guess is they would work well as 72 round mags because there would always be three rounds remaining inside, has anybody bought these? Any experience witht them?

I wonder if you could just put 3dummy rounds(snap-caps) in that act as a follower, this way when the mag is empty there will me no live rounds inside.

waitafugginminute...is it missing the star section in the center, or is it missing the follower piece that guides the rounds up into the mag tower.

I don't own a drum, I've just played with one a few times.

$80 for a shell with nothing in it?

oj, if it's anything like my suomi drum conversion for my uzi, it's basically three dummy rounds wired together through holes.

For 3 dummy rounds and some wire, that seems like a cheap deal on a drum to me.

Its rare that you get a deal from CFS. Its like pulling straws. Most likely, something else is wrong, and is missing. I've been down that road much to often.
