Just picked up a 180 round range pack of this stuff. It says made in the Ukraine. Is this pretty good ammo? Anyone here have experience with this ammo?

I'm still in the middle of testing/comparing, but I can tell you that it averages out with an OAL (measured at the ogive) of 1.674 which is the same as Tulammo 124 GR FMJ and a little less than the Arsenal 122 GR FMJ @ 1.677.

It's 2nd worse (out of a group of 40 different brands/types) for OAL consistency with a SD of .0074.

Give me a few weeks and I will have just about every measurement charted (FPS, powder, projectile, etc.) and we can see where it fits in the bigger picture.

Well I don't have any technical info to offer.

I saw the 180 round packs locally for the first time last weekend. They were asking 44¢ a round so I decided to pass, despite the attractive packaging.

I did a little research and found that it is imported by Century and that earlier in the year it was originally imported as lacquered sealed cases from Romania. However, the stuff I saw was unsealed poly cases from Ukraine. I did not recognize the head stamp.

I also read some online claims that the same ammo in 54r was found to be corrosive, as well as some claims of poor accuracy.

I'm skeptical of any x39 imported from Ukraine in the wake of the 'non corrosive' marked corrosive Wolf black box that circulated last year.
