I have a 5.45 demilled parts kit on the way from K-Var and plan to have a krink built into a SBR. I contacted several Class 2 builders recommened by this forum to get some prices on the labor to do the build and refinish. I believe I'm going to have it built on a Global Trades 1mm stamped receiver which costs about 75 bucks in the type 2 configuration (the least amount of finishing). Global doesn't do builds anymore, but they recommended Hector Bennett of Elk River Tool & Die. They said they trained him. I talked to him, and he said he could do the build for $400 ($125 of that is to do the side fold cuts for the trunion) plus $150 to park and then paint, so $550 shipped back to me. I thought that was reasonable. I was wondering if anyone here has had work done by him before and/or if you have a krink built on a Global 1mm stamped receiver, and what your opinions are of it. Thanks in advance.

Inrange...Troy is the Krink man. Check out his web site.

Do some research on Global Trades builds, quality can be varied.

I would suggest waiting for DCI's premium receiver to come out. End of April the last time I contacted Harlan.

You can then have the 'correct' selector markings engraved into your receiver.

this guy will build it for you for 300 and he does great work. I have a Bulgi Krink he did and it's fantastic! He has pictures on his site of Krinks under the SBR section on the left hand side.
