Dimpling my receiver early and it got warped at the end where the rear trunnion fits into the top of the receiver. It's enough to pull it from the grooves without the long rivet placed in, and with the long rivet in the edge of the receiver goes slightly into the groove of the trunnion. My question is, should I ditch this receiver and order a new one or will it somewhat fix itself when I crush the long rivet? And will it have some effect down the road with the recoil spring and bolt carrier moving back? I just got this receiver back with my SBR info on it, and really don't feel like dropping another 200 for a new one.

When you set the rivet it will pull together.

yeah, looks like it won't be a problem. Just make sure to keep the receiver tight against the trunnion when riveting.

Yeah just use a clamp to get that receiver tight against the trunnion when you set the long rivet. After that it will be good to go
