looks to me like someone very badly tried to put in the feathers at the base a romanian arsenal mark to make it look like a Ishvesk one.

bet someone is trying to pass this romanina kit gun as a russian kit gun on one of the auction sites

I just view the image, and it came off GUNBROKER, so I was right.

Now all we need to do is sit back and see how many people this badly amateurish attempt will fool.

That engraving is done by Welco Arms...It needs some work for sure. I do believe that there honest though and admit that its a clone build and don't try to pass the rifle off as a Russian...What bothers me is the year prefix. They never get that right....they will have four digits when there suppose to have two or vise versa...
