Steve,
I just noticed this while looking at some of my photos. Have you guys thought about adding the dimples on both sides of the Tabuk receivers to make them look more authentic? I believe they serve no function at all but are certainly a visual characteristic on every Tabuk I have seen and it is unique to these rifles. It doesn't seem like it would be too difficult to stamp the receivers this way. These dimples are on both styles of receiver (flat and bulged trunnion).

Those dimples are spot welds. We have experimented with it on our foot pedal spot welder but much of it has to do with being able to get the receiver into the welder to fuse the receiver to the trunnions. It does not really improve function and could increase the chance that we blow a receiver weld after much work has already been done. I suppose they could be milled out to look like spot welds but we've not taken that step. Steve
