The mentioned mark is the military acceptance mark used till 1990.

B - Military acceptance marking
  • 2.5 mm size K I. or K II. letter and below one/two 1.5 mm size number in a 5 mm diameter circle - Military Acceptance Mark (1951-1963), or
  • 5 mm diameter, coat of arms of the Hungarian People’s Republic, and below one/two 2 mm size number stamp - Military Acceptance Mark (1963-1990).

It was stamped to the receiver's right side at back, and barrel, receiver front trunnion right. In a rare case if it was stamped to the barrel front trunnion or the receiver left side as well, means the weapon was made by the experimental workshop. Normally it was stamped to the gun's right side only.
