There's a few configurations you can do with the sling on the weapon:
Around the top of the buttstock:

Around the bottom of the buttstock:

Around the base of the buttstock:

I did mine like this around the base - while the sling is outstretched, just wrap it around the part you want then do it just like any other AK sling:
