From what I got from Tantal's site, they are both over the bore and the sight picture is pretty similar through both, the -AV looks a bit more rugged than the -ASV but also heavier; anyone with both optics here have some pros and cons for these optics? Also considering a Kobra EKP-1S-03M, sold a weaver mount Kobra a while back and wouldnt mind getting a new one dedicated to the AK platform if it outperforms the -AV and -ASV. I dont want something that will wash out on bright backgrounds easily, and I do want durable. The optic will be going on the SER III Khyber Pass rifle, I pick it up either tomorrow afternoon or Friday morning.
