Awesome Russian AK sasm7 , were you thinking of going with a paint over park , like the Soviets originaly did ?

If you were , i think there is a moly resin that looks very close to the original finish .

P.S. dont ya love that russian laminated wood !!

Yes, the laminated wood is my favorite. I have a bunch of mak 90 with russian wood. I would like to keep like the original Russian's + I wanted just to go over the park finish.

I doubt it. That looks like a GT-AUSA receiver to me.

PLO kit? Can you show pics of the trunnion?

I'd get a Russian pistol grip, Russian sling and paint over park on the metal.

It does have a global trade receiver on it. I don't have it in hand yet. I have a ftf tomorrow. I know it doesn't have matching numbers I asked. The sling is wrong, the grip looks wrong also. I'll check out tomorrow. It needs work I know, will see if its worth it. The wood is right. I won't buy a JoeKen AK, only parts from him. He says there are no markings on trunnion. There should be something right?

The sells picture did not do this justice. I will not have to durocoat it.
Here are some better pictures. Change the pistol grip & removed the sling.
It came with a certificate of authentisity. JoeKen kit but not assembled by them. Has a global trade receiver.

Yea , i was living there for 2 years while i was going to ASU- been back home here in Chicago for over a year now , and i miss AZ lots !

My favorite place to shoot there is Rio Salado , in Mesa , and off HWY 87-
past suargo lake & sugar loaf Mtn. in the desert - lotts of old cars out there that people have shot up !!!
