picked up a maadi arm this weekend

i picked up this maadi saturday from a guy at the gun show. it had the butthole stock on it when i got it. i found a guy that had an original maadi stock who sold it to me for 20 bucks. i snagged the grip from my aes-10b so i could take some pictures. i need to get a G2, as the stock trigger is terrible. worse than any wasr i have ever fired. anyways, it is all matching numbers and perfect bore. finish is very good, considering most maadi's.

You need a chocolate brown grip, and a slant break.

i know, im working on it :grin: just didnt have any handy. i do have the slant break though, just not the grip. working a trade for one hopefully.

what kind of sling should i look for? and is it normal for the buttstock to not have any place to put a sling?

It would appear your buttstock either has no provision for a sling or the sling swivel was removed. It's an easy enough fix with a dremel to put a sling swivel on your buttstock if there's no provision for one.

there is no provision for one. i could jack the parts from the butthole stock too. i dont even want that thing. its taking up space.

it definitely has the original top cover. it is ribbed, and serial number matched to the gun(last 4 digits).

what do you think the flash hider is worth? i was just going to toss it.

damn. i just checked out AA-OK. they have the maadi grip. 10 bucks. good price right? yeah until you checkout... 9 dollars shipping on a freaking pistol grip that weighs no more than 5 ounces? im not buying. they are a rip off.
