I've seen an 84s1 on GB, with an underfolding stock, and a 19" barrel, and no bayo lug. Is this a normal configuration?
It's marked 84S-1 in the pics.
It has a phosphate finish, which indicates a refinish.
This rifle was probably imported into Canada which requires the longer bbl. These guns are generally regarded as desirable collectibles, but that one has had the value severely diminished by the refinish. I can't imagine why anyone would refinish a gun like that unless they were trying to cover up some damage to the original finish.
I have that same rifle with the original finish. On the right side of the reciever they are marked MAK 90 and that is most likely why the refinish. To cover that up. I paid $325 for mine.
