Tempting. I just bought two maadis in the last couple weeks. Hmm....do i need a 3rd?

But you're right, that was silly cheap for what it had. Never be another deal like that.

MISR-10 requires single-stack, this was a regular MISR that accepted doubles.

I picked the rifle the other day. No it was not NIB, and it was pretty dirty, but in overall excellent condition.


Here are the grind marks of the old DDR serial.


It turns out that it has an East German trunnion. It is very faint but if you look close you can see the circle K3.


I guess the Egyptians used old rifles, old stock parts to make the civilian models. Anyone else see this before?

Thanks for the heads up Trueno, I wanted another Maadi to turn into a Khyber Pass and thought I wouldn't feel so bad doing it to a MISR SA since the ARMs are the "good" ones. Where do you want me to send the mags? :razz:
