a friend of mine called and said he has a rock river arms lar 15 with a sling, soft case, and some kind of winchester 1x26 optic, and one colt mag. for 700.00 says rifle looks brand new. I have zero knowledge about ar 15's. is this a good rifle and a good deal? any suggestions would help alot. thanks.

thanks for the input. i will probably pick it up tomorrow i've fired an ar but never really paid much attention to prices. if I get it i'll post pics to see what yall think. if it would be cool on an ak forum. like i said I'm really green with ar's
